the School Song (in English) |
The Japan School in Kaohsiung is about 30 years old. When the school first opened, there were only 4 students. Today, we have 168 students, 25 teachers and 4 staff members. Some special animals live on the campus. A dog named, "Gin" (that means "Silver" in Japanese) and a dog named "Poko", 1 Rabbit, 1 Guinea Pig, 3 Turtles and 2 Birds.
The school is pretty big. There is a pool, a large sports field, 2 libraries, an auditorium, a science lab, an art room, a computer room with 16 P.C.'s, an audio visual room, a music room and lots of classrooms. Banannas and mangoes grow on the campus, too. They are delicious!
The students work very hard from Monday to Saturday. They study Japanese, Chinese, P.E., Science, Math, Home Economics, History, Music, Taiwan Studies AND English! They also have ALOT of fun!
